We have a team lunch today. And today is frieda’s birthday too. Happy Birthday to you!
David make a reservation at a Japanese restaurant named something like *Yokidori* at Vivo City.
I order a set meal. It come with the rice covered with the Vegetable and scallop tempura, and my set come with the sashimi which I don’ like to eat so I requested to changed the sashimi to sushi, sound silly but who care, and I have potato, soup and fruits. Orange juice start of my lunch today.
We wanted to order tempura to share with but I accidently ordered the tempura set. When they serving the food, I just pretend I didn’t see and hear anything.. Ya, quite bad, because we are all ful. I thought I can skip this but the waitress that I place ordered with approached to me and checked with me about my order.
Waitress: Sorry miss, just now u ordered with the XXXXXX and tempura?
Me: (no choice to say)oh ya
Waitress: it’s a set
Me: Oh really, I don’t know that. But we are full...
Waitress: sorry, we have cooked the meal and this cannot be cancel.
Me: It’s ok. We don’t want the rice, just bring us the tempura.
OMG. Everyone are so full and we can’t eat anymore. I still trying to finish my portion. When they served the tempura, I really got shock. The portion is big. But luckily they still help me to finished the tempura, as for myself, I just able to finished the set meal that I ordered, and I can’t eat even a small piece of tempura.
Settled the bill at 500plus for 15person. It’s really expensive.
Let’s talk about the food. The restaurant quite high standard, but the food are cooked a while ago. Because the vege tempura is cold when they served to me. Not crispy at all. David said they prepare earlier. Can’t believe it, my set cost about 20dollar, how can they serve cold food.
I think I will try other Japanese restaurant. There are a lots of Japanese restaurant in Centre, Clarke Quay. Should try out one day.
